About Tool Room & Training Centre Guwahati
The Tool Room & Training Centre (TRTC), Guwahati, was established by the Government of India to address the tooling and training needs of industries in the North Eastern Region. The State Government of Assam provided the land and initial infrastructure for TRTC.
Registered as a Government of India Society on 24th February 2000, TRTC is located in the Amingaon Industrial Area, North Guwahati Road, Guwahati-781031. The campus includes an Administrative Block, Training Block, Modern Workshop, Knowledge Centre, Staff Quarters, and Hostel facilities.
Eligibility Criteria of TRTC Guwahati Apprenticeship Training
Educational Qualification:
Candidates must meet one of the following criteria:
- B.E./B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering or Civil Engineering
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
- Graduate in Arts/Science/Commerce with a minimum 6-month certificate course in Computer Application
